About me
I am a Registered Psychologist (#2688) with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). I also maintain professional memberships as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® with the Canadian Sport Psychology Association and as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#10534) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Over the past 10 years, my professional experience has involved providing counselling and sport psychology services in community-oriented settings, university health and counselling centres and private practice settings. Given my academic and sport background one of my special interests is the intersection of mental health care and sport performance. With training in counselling and sport science I am passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential through a person-centred approach. This means I support athletes not only in the pursuit of performance goals but to also help them live meaningful and fulfilled lives throughout and after their athletic careers. I am a vetted provider with CSI-Pacific and Game Plan, Canada’s total athlete wellness program that provides support to national team athletes. I have experience providing sport psychology and counselling services to athletes and teams competing at provincial, national and Olympic levels. I love calling the North Shore home because the mountains are always calling. You may see me mountain biking the Seymour trails, skiing with my kids or cruising up the Arm on our motorboat. I recognize that I am a settler on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish. To both the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation, I am grateful to live, work and play on your beautiful territory.
