About me

I am a Registered Psychologist (#2688) with the BC College of Psychologists. I also maintain professional memberships as a Mental Performance Consultant with the Canadian Sport Psychology Association and as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#10534) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.  Over the past 10 years, my professional experience has involved providing counselling and sport psychology services in community-oriented settings, university health and counselling centres and private practice settings.  Given my academic and sport background one of my special interests is the intersection of mental health care and sport performance. With training in counselling and sport science I am passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential through a person-centred approach. This means I support athletes not only in the pursuit of performance goals but to also help them live meaningful and fulfilled lives throughout and after their athletic careers. I am a vetted provider with the Canadian Centre for Mental Health and Sport and I have experience providing sport psychology and counselling services to athletes and teams competing at provincial, national and Olympic levels.  I recently relocated to the North Shore because the mountains were calling and my husband and I wanted to raise our kids here. You may see me mountain biking the Seymour trails, skiing with my kids or cruising up the Arm on our little motor boat. I recognize that I am a settler on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I am grateful to live and work in such a beautiful part of Canada.
